"Integrated Care"

How to serve individuals, families, neighborhoods and entire communities

About

His Health Care is not a program or clinical service.

It is a website established by Dr. Bill Morehouse to showcase a way of delivering “Integrated Care” that serves individuals, families, neighborhoods and entire communities as a visible manifestation of God’s love. Based on 40 years of experience founding and building a ministry called “His Branches” in Rochester, NY, Dr. Morehouse has gathered material that exemplifies the work of His Branches at the time of his “graduation into retirement” in 2018 with links to the current status of the ministry after his departure.

Care

A History of Integrated Care

Two years after becoming a committed Christian in 1974, Dr. Morehouse and his new bride Susan moved into an inner-city neighborhood on the west side of Rochester, NY. Their dream and heart were to establish a presence in the city for faith-based service that would integrate Christ-centered primary health care and multifaceted community outreach. A year later he was called to leave his medical position at the Eastman Kodak Company to follow a visionary blueprint (see Original Outline)

Community

Scope of Outreaches

Proven examples of reaching out to neighbors, building broader community, involving students and other believers in health care.

Neighborhood: Networking with citizens and local agencies seeking solutions to neighborhood problems.

Community: Visibly living out our calling to be peacemakers in a world troubled with strive and violence.

Praying for revival: Locally, nationally, and globally with a special interest in the Middle East and Holy Land.
